Individual lessons with teacher of the Kensington Dance Studio are available by appointment from 10:00am Monday - Thursday. The last appointment times are: Mondays 7-8pm; Wednesdays 6-7pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-10pm.

Individual lessons can be taken by either one person or a couple - the cost for the hour is the same either way. We regret that we are unable to take "mini-groups" such as two or three couples together in the evening, as the studio is too busy.

There are usually other individual lessons taking place in the studio at the same time as your lesson, especially during the evenings. When this happens, the lessons take turns sharing the music. We regret we cannot guarantee that yours will be the only lesson in the studio.

During an individual lesson you can look at whatever ballroom, Latin American or Club dances you would like to work on. You can prepare for the first dance at your wedding, prepare for a medal test, improve your technique, or learn a few new steps. It is particularly valuable to use individual lessons for improving techniques such as spotting in turns, posture, timing/musicality and partnering.

The price for an individual lesson is £40/lesson. Lessons start on the hour and last 50 minutes. 48 hours notice of cancellation is required, otherwise the full fee will be retained.
